My name is Valerie, I’ve been a massage therapist for 6 years. I have been happily married for 29 years. I am a mother of 4 beautiful adult children. My oldest son is 35 years, my 2nd child (girl) is 27 years old and my 4th child (girl) is 22 years old. My 3rd child (son) was my driving force to become a massage therapist.

 

I founded GENtle Touch Massage Therapy in 2016. I had a personal purpose to work with I/DD clients for a very long time. My 27 year old son presents with I/DD, Autism, a Neuro-Transmitter Disorder and a deficiency called Tetrahydrobiopterin deficiency (BH4).

My husband and I struggled to find a therapist to work with our son. I went to school at the Denver School of Massage Therapy in 2014-2015 in hopes of bringing massage therapy to individuals like my son.  My purpose was to bring compassion, therapeutic massage, sensory integration, healing touch and respect to these clients in the comfort of their own home.

 

My life as a massage therapist has been a wonderful and fulfilling life with lots of tears, laughter and smiles.  I could not have asked for a better career path than being a massage therapist!

No matter what scope of the massage field I work in, my driving force has always been a quote by Mother Theresa: “Do small things with great love.” Positive, healing touch is part of that great love in my life and being able to share that has, in turn, brought me immense joy. A smile on a client’s face, gaining back lost mobility, daily living with less pain and feeling better mind, body and soul are some of the effects of massage therapy. I am grateful to work in a field that brings me as much healing as those I am able to work with every day. 

Hello. My name is Brandy and I have been a massage therapist for 20 years. During that time, I have had the opportunity to work on clients in a variety of capacities including a world class resort spa, chiropractic offices, day spa and for the last 8 years, working with clients with disabilities. During this time, I also taught at a massage school for 15 years where I was able to share my passion of massage with thousands of students.

I am a Colorado Native, Mother of 3 boys, and Grandmother of 2 granddaughters.  Our family enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, hiking, and watching movies.  I personally take pleasure in writing, gardening, Pilates, cycling, and walking with my dog.

I have been fortunate enough to work with some very well-respected professionals in a variety of business endeavors. My vast experience allows me to adapt well to situations and to successfully communicate with clients and business associates. My name is Reyna. I have been a Massage Therapist for 3 years. I enjoy working with clients that have Intellectual and Development Disabilities because I know I am helping with some of their physical discomfort and sensory issues! Hello. My name is Crystal and I have been a massage therapist for 4 years. I have also been a CNA 14 years. I am continuously learning new techniques and broadening my massage therapy skills. Over these years I have had an opportunity to work with many individuals in a variety of capacities. My passion is helping others and I have found massage therapy to the best modality for that. Through healing touch, massage therapy helps individuals have less pain, better mobility, relax their mind, body and soul and just genuinely feel better. I also believe in self-care and massage therapy is one of those preventative things we can do for ourselves. I went to massage therapy school and from school started my own business while still working as a CNA. I am now focusing my efforts solely on massage therapy and helping as many people as I can. I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with the elderly and individuals with disabilities over the years. Seeing a smile on an individual’s face after a massage is very rewarding for me. Knowing I have been able to help in a small way brings me so much joy.

Gentle Touch Massage Therapy is a group of contracted professionals who are compassionate in 

bringing the art of healing massage to improve the wellness of their clients with intellectual

Gentle Touch Massage Therapy was founded in 2016 by Valerie Wyles. Valerie had a personal

Job Types:   

 Full-time & Part-time

 

Pay:   

$45-$53.00 per hour.

 

  • You are not required to wear masks unless you feel sick ( in that case, we would advise you to call in.) 

  • If you, the client, or anyone in the household is ill, rescheduling the appointment is recommended. 

  • Some families may ask you to wear a mask inside their homes. 

  • We always sanitize any equipment we use between each client. 

  • All staff and clients must check their temperature before a session.

 

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• 600 hrs Massage Therapy  Program

 

Experience:

• Must have completed and passed Emblex and background tests with the state of    

Colorado

 

License/Certification:

 

• Massage Therapy License    (Required)

 

This Job Is:

 

• Is a job where all licensed massage therapist experience are encouraged to apply
